More to come.

A cloudy, yet rainless, windless day in Woodland Park yielded the most gorgeous weather anyone could imagine. There was a wedding that day. Up on a hilltop overlooking Pike’s Peak, friends and family gathered to bear witness and pay tribute to this next and defining step in Patrick and Amanda’s relationship. It was refreshing and exciting for everyone and I am ever-so-grateful they chose me to photograph such a momentous occasion on such a beautiful, Saturday afternoon.
Dear Patrick and Amanda, and your incredibly nice family:
Thank you.

Looks fantastic, what a great location, nice perspectives
These are seamless.. I adore the birds eye view shot in the house.. and the dancing photos are spot on.. glow sticks how fun! Very well executed.
Gorgeous! Love the light and the kids on their little tractor.
awesome job my friend.
These are lovely and that bride is gorgeous! What a great set of photos =)
Awesome stuff.. Seriously.
Awesome work!!! My fave is the shot of the bride getting ready, where you’re shooting from outside the window. Brilliant!
Love the first image with the light sticks — that color is crazy awesome.
Rad! Admit it—you brought the glow sticks to make the photos so cool. :)
That gives me an idea. Hmm…
I love it! And if you did bring the glows sticks…. BRILLIANT! Also on a side note, you rocked the first kiss shot!
What a gorgeous open sky!! You made the most of the beautiful scenery and crowd. Well done!
Great job, Zack! So enjoyed working with you!
Can’t wait to see the rest of the photos!
Oh man….. Where do I start? Dave, Kris and I met back in October to discuss their July 10th, 2010 wedding. Since the day I met them, they have been the most kind and wonderful couple I could ever ask for. They’re charming, funny, laid back, and they love dogs (who were happily present at their ceremony). What else could anyone need?! With the current state of our unions and the anxiety around increasing marital separation, there’s always a tendency to wonder what might happen to the couples we see getting married. With them, there is no mystery. Dave and Kris love each other in a way that would inspire even the most cynical. Their love for each other is not mushy or trite nor is it superfluous or fragile; it is simply real. They just… get it. You don’t need to spend much time with Dave and Kris to see it either; their humor, their energy, and their love simply radiate to those around them. I only hope it’s contagious.
Dave and Kris hired me in spite of my relative lack of experience and for that, I cannot thank them enough. They put their trust in me for what I believe to be the most important and lasting aspect of their wedding – the photos. I’m not sure any photographer could do their relationship true justice, but I hope I came close to creating something that will give them as much joy as the day itself.
Dave and Kris, you two were an absolute pleasure to work with, to talk to, and just to be around. Your family is lovely and kind and your puppies – Piggy and Mason – are adorable. Enjoy everything you have and everything to come.

It was so nice to finally meet you – you care enough to get to know your clients and make every effort to plan your shots according to what they have requested. And you’re good at capturing the unexpected! Beautiful work. Can’t wait to see the finished product.
This past Saturday, July the 3rd, I assisted the wonderfully amazing and talented Andrea Flanagan in shooting the wedding of Kyle & Lauren. It was a heap of fun and I appreciate Andrea inviting me into this wonderful opportunity. To view more of Kyle & Lauren’s awesome wedding, please check out Andrea’s blog. As always, thank you for visiting!
