Photographing the wedding of another wedding photographer – it feels good. You might remember their vine-filled engagement. Yeah… they’re pretty much rockstars; as if you couldn’t already tell.

Great engagement and wedding photos, Zack! It’s so nice to see them so quickly, too. I miss the wedding excitement already.

These are the words of Kara Pearson (pronounced “car-uh“) and though it might not seem like it, together they make the most flattering compliment I’ve yet received as a photographer. To be unpredictable in art – what a muse. Here are a few of the images from today’s wedding that might have inspired Kara’s comment. She was kind enough to invite me to assist in Becca & Dave’s wedding; an invite without which these images would not exist. For that Kara, I thank you.

Urva & Justin were married this past Sunday at the Westin Riverfront Resort in Beaver Creek. It was awesome. Gorgeous location, gorgeous resort, gorgeous people, gorgeous wedding – what more could I ask for?
Thank you Urva & Justin for being so accommodating and wonderful. And a big thank you as well to the Westin; I refuse to stay anywhere else but a Starwood hotel when I travel. You cannot find a more professional, courteous, and hospitable staff anywhere else. (And no, I am not being paid to say all that)
